Hittite Cuneiform Tablets of the Ermitage

In June 2006 Alexei Kassian managed to find 13 of 14 Hittite fragments in the Russian State Hermitage Museum, which were reported by Shilejko in 1918 and 1925. These fragments originate from Likhachev's collection, but their traces were lost in the USSR.

Ten of them were published by Goetze as VBoT 3-12 (according to Shilejko's transliteration and photos). The other 3 small fragments are published by A. Kassian in JCS 58 (2006): 137-138.

Dr. Natalia Koslova, the curator of Hermitage cuneiform collection, has kindly permitted to photograph these fragments in order to place photos at the Hethitologie Portal Mainz.
