 Durham Oriental Museum

The Oriental Museum keeps in its collection several Hittite Cuneiform Tablets
from the Hittite capital Hattusa (Boğazköy)

Lord Warkworth visited Boğazköy in 1897: "I tried to procure one uninjured specimen, but without success, for although the villagers are constantly finding small broken pieces, they do not attempt to penetrate below the surface..."
The tablets were published by J.N. Postgate in the Journal of Cuneiform Studies in 1974.
